We’re on a quest to find an exceptional Community Host for our flagship development, Present Made of Eddington.

You are one of the most visible members of the on-site team and play a key part in how residents, visitors and prospective residents experience the community. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys interacting with people every day, takes pride in delivering great service, and feels motivated by creating a welcoming, well-run home environment.

From managing the front desk and supporting move-ins, to overseeing amenities, assisting with events and supporting the leasing journey through tours and enquiries, you play a critical role in shaping the day-to-day experience on site.

You are visible, approachable and organised, taking ownership of issues and going the extra mile to ensure residents feel supported, satisfied and genuinely cared for. No two days are the same, and the role suits someone comfortable balancing people-facing responsibilities with operational tasks.

Above all, this role is about care, consistency and attention to detail. The impact you have is felt in small moments as much as big ones, and the standard you set helps shape the culture and reputation of the community every day.

This role will be shift based between Monday and Saturday, with a total of 40 working hours per week. You will report directly to the site General Manager.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Front of House and Resident Experience

  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors and guests, delivering a consistently warm, professional and welcoming front of house experience.
  • Manage the front desk, site inbox and phone, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and accurately.
  • Take ownership of resident queries, issues and complaints, seeing them through to resolution and keeping residents informed throughout.
  • Sign in visitors and contractors, issue and manage keys and fobs, and ensure access procedures are followed correctly.
  • Handle deliveries and parcel management in line with site procedures.

Move-ins, Move-outs and Resident Journey

  • Support the end-to-end move-in process, ensuring homes, keys, access and welcome packs are ready and residents feel welcomed and confident from day one.
  • Assist with move-outs to ensure residents leave on a positive note and homes are handed back smoothly.

Leasing Support, Systems and Compliance

  • Act as a front-line point of contact for prospective residents, responding promptly to enquiries via phone, email and the property management system.
  • Book and conduct viewings, providing a confident and welcoming experience aligned with the Present Made brand.
  • Support the Leasing Manager by managing viewing follow-ups and ensuring enquiries are progressed accurately and in a timely way.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, viewings and resident interactions within the property management system.
  • Support Right to Rent checks and associated documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Community, Events and Shared Spaces

  • Support the planning and delivery of the community events programme, including planning and programme creation, set up, hosting and resident engagement.
  • Encourage resident participation and support resident-led initiatives where appropriate.
  • Manage amenity bookings, ensuring spaces are presented to a high standard and reset after use.

Building Operations and Safety

  • Carry out regular inspections of communal areas, amenities and front of house spaces, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms and building systems during shifts, escalating issues in line with procedures.
  • Support day-to-day maintenance by logging issues, liaising with contractors and following up to completion.
  • Assist with light, ad hoc tasks on site where appropriate (e.g. basic fixes, reporting defects, responding to unplanned issues in communal areas).
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times and incidents are recorded correctly.

General

  • Provide clear handovers between shifts to ensure continuity of service.
  • Support ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the General Manager.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for Present Made, ensuring the site consistently reflects the brand’s values and service standards.
