Community Host

We’re on a quest to find an exceptional and innovative Community Host for our first and flagship development, Present Made of Eddington.
You will be responsible for leading the scheme’s community offering, from ensuring first class customer service in our front of house function, to overseeing our community events programme. You will help us to achieve our occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals by supporting all core day-to-day functions of the business. This role will be shift based between 0800 – 2000, Monday – Saturday. You will report directly to the site General Manager.
We believe that building effective relationships with our residents will enhance the community spirit and everything we should be designed around the community’s well-being. For this reason, we want you to have a passion for people and a genuine desire to connect with those around you.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and members of the public
- Manage our front desk, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and ensuring the space is kept clean & well maintained
- A range of administrative tasks as required to keep the office running smoothly
- Collaborate with our Leasing Manager to assist with the implementation of our Leasing Strategy
- Make your mark on the community by overseeing our Community Events Programme, supporting resident-led events, and organising your own events & activities
- Alongside the Leasing Manager, monitor and analyse current market and competitor conditions that may impact our occupancy and sales results
- Help to manage the dedicated social media accounts related to this community
- Complete appropriate Right to Rent and immigration checks and ensuring all documents provided are certified in line with Government issued code of practices. If required, ensuring deposits are registered with the relevant protected schemes within the necessary timeframe
- Help to ensure that the community meets company standards by assisting with inspections of the leasing route and show apartments, ensuring physical spaces and amenities, maintain and uphold a high standard of the communal areas by conducting routine inspections
- Support the Present Made team to help drive corporate bookings into the asset
- Follow-up with both future and new residents to ensure satisfaction by personalising thank you notes, and cards or making telephone calls to finalise decisions to lease and/or renew
- Execute activities in support of the community's lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages for residents, meet with and contacting renewing residents in advance of term expiry dates, and help to ensure that lease renewal documents are signed and implemented on time
- Follow health & safety procedures and policies in accordance with company, community, and departmental policies & procedures
- Identify for improvement and offers suggestions and recommendations to optimise efficiency and productivity and crucially, how to maximise customer satisfaction
- Management of complaints/problems/issues arising from Residents, ensuring that all complaints are dealt with quickly. This requires strong and efficient communication skills, maturity, an abundance of common sense and the ability to stay calm in a crisis
- Always keep sensitive information highly confidential
- Take on project work and ad hoc duties as requested by the General Manager, Operations Director and HQ as needed
